About the event

Join us for a beautiful event that mixes the celebrations of Samhain and  Day of the Dead

On the 1st November the the veil is thin and the boundary between the living and the dead allows ancestors to cross over. It is our honour and duty to welcome back the souls of our deceased loved ones.

All Saints Day (Dia de los Inocentes) is dedicated to the children, and All Souls Day (Dia de los Muertos) to the adults.

Together we will honour the children and adults we have lost, by creating individual altars and offerings. I will guide you through a practice to honour your loved ones, let go of anything you are still holding for them, and receive the messages and gifts they have for you.

Samhain is the Celtic New Year. The turning of the wheel into Winter when communities lit massive bonfires, and families relit their home hearth fires from the central flame, for protection.

We will come together as a community and share the flame of protection for our own hearths. I will guide you through a bonfire meditation practice, where we will work with the element of fire, let go of the lessons of the last year and find your spark for the new one. It is an important time to be together, as we enter the descent both individually and collectively.

What will become the compost for your new growth, and how can your deceased loved ones support you with that?

1st November 1-3pm on zoom

A list of suggested things for you altar and offerings will be sent along with zoom link after booking

I look forward to sharing a beautiful afternoon with you, to honour the importance of community and the importance of our place in the family system

With love,

Vida
